Russian media landscape and the representation of Europe amid the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine

The presentation will discuss the changes in the Russian media landscape in terms of censorship and legal control over media outlets and narratives about the Russo-Ukrainian war domestically. The study also discusses how Europe and the European Union are represented on three different Russian media outlets: the state-affiliated RIA Novosty, the former RIA-FAN webpage funded by Yevgeny Prigozhin and Tsargrad television led by Konstantin Malofeev. These outlets capture the discourses of state- affiliated and nationalist media groups.
