This workshop is aimed at PhD students, post docs or researchers who wish to update their information searching skills.

During this workshop, we will focus on Social Sciences and/or Law .

The workshop will include:

• How to find relevant databases for your topic
• How to use search strategies efficiently
• Using tools to identify "high impact"/highly cited journals within a field
• How to keep updated in your field
• Discussions on information seeking with other doctoral students/researchers

If possible, please bring your own computer or tablet for the hands-on exercises. We offer coffee or tea and a snack.

Intended audience: PhD students, post docs, researchers, teachers or other employees at Uppsala University.

• Verktyg för att identifiera högt rankade tidskrifter inom ett ämne
• Tips om hur du kan hålla dig uppdaterad i ditt ämne
• Diskussioner med andra deltagare om informationssöking

Ta gärna med dig en egen dator eller surfplatta för sökövningarna. Vi bjuder på kaffe/te och fika.
