Welcome to a training session in which we will work with NVivo, software for qualitative data analysis. In the summer edition we offer step NVivo for Qualitative Data Analysis step 1-3 consecutively. Sign up for the entire day or a single step.

Due to the ongoing situation with covid-19, we have considered the best way to arrange this training day in a digital context. As it might be challenging to spend an entire day in Zoom, we have made some adjustments in order to make the day as agreeable and rewarding as possible.

We will focus on demonstrations in Zoom, followed by time designated for exercises on your own outside the Zoom meeting. We have also downsized step 3 by slimming down the parts that generally is not relevant for all participants, i.e. predefined reports and extracts (Windows users only) and collaboration. This way, you will be able to take pauses, and the day will end a bit earlier than planned.

To be able to practice during the day, you need to have NVivo installed on your computer. There is a free trial available here: https://www.qsrinternational.com/nvivo/trial-nvivo During the session we will demonstrate in NVivo 12 for Windows.

This course is open to and free of charge for students and employees at Uppsala University.
