A quarter past : Climate change over geologic time
Welcome to the lecture series A quarter past: short lectures on current research involving Uppsala University researchers. Open to all, no registration required.
People have been taking direct measurements of Earth’s climate for only 0.000000066 % of Earth’s history. So, what happened during the rest of that time, and how do we know about these past changes? Climate changes in the past allow us to understand the climate system, and the impact of humans on our current and future climate.
