Welcome to an introduction course in 3D printing at Ångström Makerspace! The course is mandatory for anyone who wants to use our 3D printers and welcomes both beginners and more experienced makers. After completed course you will have a "3D printing license" and thereby gain full access to the printers at Ångström Makerspace.

We recommend bringing your own computer. We then suggest you install Ultimaker Cura before the course: https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura. Please note that this is not required to attend the course, but can give more hands on experience.

This session will be held in English.

This event is organized by Ångström Makerspace and presented by student employees at the University library.

Did you know that there is also a makerspace in the Biology library at EBC? If you are interested in printing with other materials than PLA, like PETG, PVB and TPU, we recommend you to join the EBC makerspace. All students and employees at Uppsala University can get access to it by attending their introduction course - see more here:

Are you a researcher with a project? Check out AM@Å and U-print here. They offer a wide veriety of FDM printers, including resin and SLA, as well as metal printing.

Välkommen till en introduktionskurs till 3D-skrivarna på Ångström Makerspace! Kursen är obligatorisk för alla som vill utnyttja våra 3D-skrivare och riktar sig både till den som är nybörjare och den som har erfarenhet av 3D-skrivare sedan tidigare. Efter kursen kommer du att ha "3D-skrivarkörkort" och får därmed möjlighet att själv boka 3D-skrivarna i Ångström Makerspace.

Om du vill kan du ta med en egen dator till kursen. Installera då gärna Ultimaker Cura i förväg: https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura. Egen dator är dock inget krav, men kan ge mer praktisk förståelse över materialet.

Tillfället kommer att hållas på engelska.
