DESCRIPTION:I denna verkstad får du lära dig grunderna i hur du kan 
 använda GIS (geografiska informationssystem) och geodata i din forskning. 
 Under verkstaden kommer vi att titta på hur du hittar eller skapar geodata 
 och hur du kan analysera och visualisera den i QGIS.\n\nInnan workshopen 
 behöver du ha installerat QGIS på din dator. Program och 
 installationsinstruktioner finns här. QGIS har öppen källkod och är 
 därför gratis att ladda ned och använda. Om du redan har ett dataset du 
 vill arbeta med\, t.ex. en lista på ortnamn eller ett nedladdat dataset 
 med koordinater\, ta gärna med dig det till workshopen.\n\nIngen tidigare 
 erfarenhet krävs.\n\nTillfället kommer att hållas på engelska vid 
 behov.\n\n\nIn this workshop you will learn about using GIS (Geographical 
 Information Systems) and geodata in your research. We will look into how 
 you can find and/or create geodata and how you can analyse and visualise 
 this data in QGIS.\n\nIn preparation of the workshop\, you need to install 
 QGIS on your computer. Software and installation instructions can be found 
 here. QGIS is open source software and is therefore free to download and 
 use. If you already have a data set you want to work with\, i.e. a list of 
 place names or a downloaded data set with coordinates\, please bring this 
 with you to the workshop.\n\nNo previous experience is required.\n\nIf 
 requested\, the course will be given in English.
