SUMMARY:Ångström Makerspace: Introduction to CAD with FreeCAD
DESCRIPTION:\nWelcome to the Makerspace FreeCAD course! In this course you 
 will learn the basics of FreeCAD. The course is meant to serve as a 
 starting point for people with little to no prior experience with freeCAD 
 or CAD in general. Hopefully you will be able to build on the things you 
 learn here and also apply them to other CAD programs with similar 
 functionality\, like Fusion360. At the end of the course you will have 
 created some kind of 3D-model that can be exported and 
 3D-printed.\n\nFreeCAD is completetly free and open source. It works on 
 most relatively modern computers and supports Windows\, MAC and Linux. 
 During the course you are going to learn by following along while we try 
 tools and design models\, so you will have to bring your own laptop and 
 preferably a computer mouse. FreeCAD can be installed before the course\, 
 you can find it here.\n\n\n\nThis session will be held in 
 English.\n\n\n\nThis event is organized by Ångström Makerspace and 
 presented by student employees at the University library.\n\n
